Speaker Bios
Marie Kozlowski, Business Development Manager for Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes. Marie is a Sales Leader with proven experience delivering topline results, leading cross-functional teams and masterfully cultivating key customer relationships in global food ingredient business. She has a proven record of achieving year-over-year growth targets by managing portfolios of complex accounts, revitalizing existing business, and establishing new growth opportunities. Recently, she became certified as a Certified Professional Coactive Coach (CPCC) which compliments her selling skills of asking open questions, listening, and moving forward. She has a BS in Food Science from Iowa State University and an MBA from St. Louis University. She has held several positions in the Saint Louis Section, including Chair, Supplier Night Chair, and Treasurer.
Moira McGrath, President of OPUS International, an executive search firm which focuses in the field of food science. She started the firm in 1993, and she and her team place scientists in research and development and quality assurance with both food and food ingredient manufacturers. She has been very active with IFT, having serving on the Board of Directors, started the South Florida Chapter, and chaired numerous task forces and committees. She also serves on numerous university Advisory Councils, including UC Davis, Virginia Tech, and University of Florida. She loves to work with students in helping them start their career in food science. She is a Cornell University grad with a degree in Hotel Administration.
