ACCOUNT MANAGER/TECHNICAL SALES, Midwest
Are you a technical professional driven to exceed customer expectations? Are you looking for a company known for its exceptional customer service and technical support? In this role as Account Manager, you will be responsible for offering solutions based, specialty ingredients into food, beverage and nutrition manufacturers in the central Midwest territory.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic relationships with R&D, purchasing, QA, marketing and senior management
  • Provide technical assistance and solutions in the product development process
    Conduct regular customer visits and fulfill follow up tasks
  • Utilize market trends and regulatory changes to devise a strategic sales approach
    Document activity and develop sales forecasts

  • Passionate about the food and beverage industry
  • Collaborative and a team player
Do you possess…
  • BS in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or related field
  • Experience in either food ingredient sales OR providing technical solutions to customers
  • Experience in R&D is a plus
  • An ability to travel up to 50% (including local and overnight travel)
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
    Time management and organizational skills to work from a home office
